Mirror feature strains credulity

I was disappointed, but not shocked, with the inaccuracies abound in the health column by Ms. Cheryl Salerno concerning headaches. Cranial sacral therapy, Rieki, Quantum touch are not FDA approved to treat, diagnose or cure any medical condition. There is very little reason to believe that they even have a chance to work, as their mechanisms are highly implausible. Dehydration on the other hand, is a real cause for headaches, and her advice on keeping hydrated is sound. However, there is nothing wrong with the tap water in Highland Park and we should be thankful we do not live in an impoverished nation where we need to be concerned with water safety. I highly recommend that anyone seeking medical advice avoid anyone who is disdainful or biased towards traditional medicine, as this columnist seems to be.
